Nolario + IMAP · Available
Any mailbox that speaks IMAP
Fastmail, iCloud Mail, GMX, a hosting provider's mailbox or your own server: if it speaks IMAP, Nolario reads it, ranks it with your other channels and drafts replies you send over SMTP.
What Nolario does with IMAP
01
Presets for common providers
Fastmail, iCloud, GMX, WEB.DE, mailbox.org and Yahoo are filled in for you; for anything else you enter the server once.
02
Same ranking as Gmail
IMAP mail gets the same importance score and drafts as every other inbox in the feed.
03
Sent from your own server
When you press Send, the reply leaves through your mailbox's SMTP server, from your address.
Connect IMAP in 3 steps
- 1In Nolario, open Settings → Services.
- 2Click Connect next to IMAP and pick your provider, or enter the server details.
- 3Use an app password where your provider offers one, then save.
Good to know
- Proton Mail works only through a Proton Bridge that is reachable from the internet. The desktop Bridge listens on your own computer, which a hosted service cannot reach.
- Your password is stored encrypted on the server and never sent to the browser.
