Lindy and Nolario both promise to take work off a busy person's plate, and they start from opposite ends. Lindy calls itself "the AI employee that plugs into your tools, learns how you work, and takes real work off your plate": you give it routines and skills, and it acts across your tools. Nolario is a finished inbox: it pulls Gmail, Outlook, IMAP, Slack, Microsoft Teams and Google Calendar into one feed, scores every item from 0 to 100 and drafts replies in your voice. Nolario is our product, so weigh this comparison accordingly; we say below where Lindy is the better pick.

What Lindy is in October 2026
Lindy is a general assistant that you teach, and email is one of the jobs it can take on. When we read lindy.ai on October 23, 2026, it described three ways to give it work: routines, which are "work that runs on schedule" and start from a sentence; skills, which you create by showing Lindy a task once and then share with your team; and more than 1,500 integrations plus any hosted MCP server. It works inside Gmail through a Chrome extension, answers in Slack threads when you ask in a channel, and has a meeting notes routine that runs after every meeting.
For email, the pricing page lists inbox management, drafts in your voice, and 2 to 5 connected inboxes depending on plan. It also states a guardrail we like: anything with outside impact, such as sending an email, waits for approval. Outlook was not named on the two pages we read, so if your mail runs on Microsoft, check Lindy's integrations before you plan around it. Our wider roundup of AI chief of staff tools puts Lindy next to the other agent builders.
Lindy pricing, worked out per 1,000 credits
Lindy charges in credits, and the price per credit falls from $10 to about $5.71 per 1,000 as the plan grows, with two steps that break the pattern. On October 23, 2026 the pricing page listed a free start with $50 in credits that last 7 days and need no credit card, then a Team plan with 15 credit tiers, and custom Enterprise pricing. Credits are pooled across the team, and top ups cost $10 per 1,000 credits. We divided each tier's monthly price by its credits:
| Feature | Monthly price | Per 1,000 credits |
|---|---|---|
| 3,000 to 8,000 credits | $29.99 to $79.99 | $10.00 |
| 15,000 credits | $99.99 | $6.67 |
| 20,000 credits | $149.99 | $7.50 |
| 35,000 credits | $199.99 | $5.71 |
| 45,000 credits | $299.99 | $6.67 |
| 70,000 to 1,750,000 credits | $399.98 to $9,999.50 | $5.71 |
Two things follow. First, the 20,000 tier costs more per credit than the 15,000 tier, and the 45,000 tier more than the 35,000 tier, so if you land near those steps, buy the smaller tier and top up, or move up to the next cheaper rate. Second, the page does not say how many credits drafting one reply uses, so the monthly cost of an email routine depends on your volume and the model you choose for each task. Run the free week on your real inbox before you pick a tier. For how other assistants price the same job, see AI email assistant pricing.
Where Lindy is the better choice
Lindy wins when your work is spread across many tools and you want one assistant to act in all of them. It can schedule, draft, take meeting notes and answer in Slack, and you can start this afternoon with free credits, which you cannot do with Nolario.
Good
- Available today, with $50 in free credits for 7 days
- Acts across 1,500+ integrations and MCP servers
- Routines from a sentence and skills you show once
- Sending waits for your approval
Not so good
- You design the routines, so the result depends on your setup
- Credit pricing makes the monthly cost hard to predict
- Its pages do not describe ranking messages by importance
- Outlook not named on the pages we read
Where Nolario is the better choice
Nolario wins when the job is deciding what needs you first, across mail and chat, with nothing to configure. Every item from Gmail, Outlook, IMAP, Slack and Teams gets a score from 0 to 100 on the same scale, the feed is ordered by it, and each rank comes with its reason. Replies are drafted in your voice from your sent mail, and the AI never sends: we decided early that one wrong auto-sent reply to an investor or a key customer costs more than every minute the tool saves. Mail text is filtered before it reaches an AI provider, with names swapped for roles and secrets removed. How the ranking works is in how AI decides which emails are important.
Good
- One ranked feed across Gmail, Outlook, IMAP, Slack, Teams and calendar
- A 0 to 100 importance score per item, with its reason
- Nothing to build: connect channels and read
- Plans from €29/mo
Not so good
- Access is by waitlist today
- Desktop web app, with no mobile app yet
- Does not act in other tools such as a CRM or project tracker
- Teams chats need a Microsoft work or school account
Verdict
Choose Lindy if you want an assistant that works across your whole tool stack and you are willing to teach it, and if credit pricing suits you. Choose Nolario if your problem is the inbox itself: too many channels, and the one message that mattered buried in them. They also combine well, since Lindy can run your routines while Nolario tells you what to open first. If the channel question is what you are solving, compare the best AI assistants for Gmail, Slack and Teams, and for a similar head to head with a drafting assistant, see Nolario vs Fyxer AI. The channels Nolario connects are on integrations, plans are on pricing, and the free tools need no account.
